Coors Field: Home of Major League Baseball’s Colorado Rockies, Coors Field is a fun way to spend an afternoon or an evening taking in a ballgame. Located in the heart of downtown Denver within walking distance to many bars, shops, and restaurants, Coors Field is in the perfect location for a day trip to the heart of Denver.
Elitch Gardens Theme Park: America’s only downtown theme and water park, Elitch Gardens is open from May – October. There are activities and attractions available for children of all ages, Elitch Gardens is the perfect place to spend a day with the family. Check out the 20 story high observation tower to see some breathtaking views of the city. Coors Brewery: Nestled at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in a mining town known as Golden, sits the historic Coors Brewery. The former capital of Colorado, Golden is chalk full of history and attractions. The largest of these attractions is the Coors Brewery. Stop by and take a free tour of the facility, along with complimentary samples of the different products produced by Coors Brewing. Make sure you have your ID if you are 21 so you can participate in the sampling!
