Best Bloody Mary in Summit County

Everyone’s favorite pick me up after a long night out on the town has got to be the bloody mary.  What better way to start your ski day with the classic vodka + tomato juice combo?  Here in Summit County, we work hard but we play harder.  It’s pretty easy to get a typical bloody mary at basically any brunch or breakfast restaurant.  However, it’s a bit more challenging to find that perfect mix of tomato juice, spices, liquor, and toppings – let’s face it, you can’t call a bloody mary good without the toppings.

The first place to check out would be Angels Hollow in Breckenridge.  Angels Hollow is a tiny little restaurant that can seat about 25 people at a time. It has a very traditional ski town vibe where you’re not going to be “winded and dine” by the service.  The loud environment, fun loving staff and of course incredible food just add to the hype of this place, but the real stand out at Angel’s Hollow is their bloody mary.  Each drink is topped with an array of additions – onions rings being a big favorite as well as tiny toy soldiers.

In 2014, Snake River Saloon claimed the title of Best Bloody Mary in Summit County in the Summit Daily.  Today, they’re definitely still in the top list.  Carol’s secret bloody mix is one of the most popular around the county, and should definitely be on your list if you’re heading to Keystone this winter.

Skiing A-Basin for the day?  Start your chilly morning off with 6th Alley Bar & Grill‘s bacon-infused vodka bloody mary.  Lovers of bacon and all things delicious will enjoy their rendition of the classic breakfast drink.  Justly voted 2017’s most delectable bloody mary in Summit County, this one’s a no brainer.  Arapahoe Basin even added a voucher for this specific cocktail to their lift tickets last winter.

The Crown is a small coffee shop right off of main street, and though it doesn’t seem like a likely choice for your boozy breakfast needs, don’t overlook this charming little place.  One of the best parts about this ‘coffee shop” is that you can get alcohol there as well.  Comfy seating and a cozy environment make this a great spot to sip your delicious bloody mary.  Again, the toppings set this with the traditional option of celery or bar onions, or you can pretty much get an entire breakfast sandwich on top and kill two birds with one stone.

Stop by one of these great spots for a life changing bloody mary and food that is just as delightful.
