Feel the breeze in your hair as you fly on our family-friendly zipline course, and then the spray on your skin as you raft the Lower Canyon. This section of the Clear Creek represents one of our more advanced whitewater opportunities, yet is still suitable for fit beginners up for a challenge!

B. Trip Itinerary*
- Check in and meeting your guide at our Idaho Springs outpost
- Travel in our zip truck for most of the journey to the beginning of our zipline course, with a short hike to the first platform
- Soar on our six-line zipline course, immersing yourself in stunning mountain vistas throughout the entire adventure
- Return to our outpost and take a break for lunch – please pack a lunch or grab a bite to eat in town between adventures
- Meet up with your guide, gear up, and take a short ride to start the Lower Canyon section of Clear Creek
- Crash through adrenaline-pumping class IV and V rapids as you cover a thrilling 10-mile stretch of the river
- Return to the outpost and viewing the photos from your trips

On Your Whitewater Rafting + Zipline Adventure
A full day of excitement
You’ll start the morning on our cliffside zipline tour, and soar amidst the Rockies, high above Idaho Springs. With 6 incredible ziplines and thrilling elements like our “Jungle Bridge”, Dual Race Line, Bridge of Doom & more, our zipline will get your blood pumping!
You will then blast down the Lower Canyon of Clear Creek and enjoy one of the most continuous and difficult sections of whitewater in the Colorado Rockies. Just 30 minutes from Denver, this continuous, steep, technical section of Clear Creek will keep your paddle moving through the 150 ft/mile gradient drop.
Unparalleled Scenery
Prepare for an adventure that offers stunning views both from the mountain peaks and along the river’s edge. On our cliffside zipline course, you’ll enjoy panoramic vistas of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Take in the breathtaking scenery of Chicago Creek and the forests gracing the mountainside below. Our zipline and Via Ferrata adventures are unique in that our courses are built directly into the mountainside, meaning you really will be soaring cliff to cliff!
Embark on the Lower Canyon of Clear Creek for an exhilarating whitewater experience amidst the backdrop of towering mountains. Enhanced with greenery along the riverbanks and flanked by imposing rock formations, your rafting journey promises scenic beauty at every turn. Be on the lookout for wildlife sightings, as the area is home to bighorn sheep, eagles, and otters.
